    Width: 6,5cm.

  • How often should I replace SHE Period Menstrual Disc?

  • Up to 5 years! SHE Period Menstrual Disc is made of medical-grade silicone that can last up to 5 years with proper care. You can preserve the longevity of your disc by always following SHE's guidelines for cleaning, sanitizing and storing it.

  • Can SHE Period Menstrual Disc get lost in my vagina?

  • At some point in life, we all might have asked ourselves that question. Don't worry, your disc can't go too far. Our vaginal canal dead-ends in our cervix, which separates our vagina from our uterus and keeps the path safe and sound.

You can check out our post about the female reproductive system here and here. (talvez pode linkar o post do insta?)

  • How does SHE Period Menstrual Disc work?

  • SHE Period Menstrual Disc is a reusable disc made of medical-grade silicone that is worn internally like a tampon but collects—rather than absorbs—your menstrual flow.

    To insert:

After washing your hands and sanitizing the disc, pinch it in half and slowly slide it into the vaginal canal, then use a finger to push it down into the vaginal fornix. Once it’s as far back as possible, use your finger to tuck it behind your pubic bone.

    To remove:

Find yourself in a comfortable position, and use a finger to hook the disc. Untuck it from behind the pubic bone and carefully pull it out. Empty the blood into the toilet or shower, sanitize your disc and repeat!

  • How long can I wear SHE Period Menstrual Disc?

  • You can wear your disc for up to 12 hours. Depending on your flow intensities, you may need to change it more frequently.

  • Can I use SHE Period Menstrual Disc at night?

  • Absolutely! SHE Period Menstrual Disc provides you a hassle-free period day and night.

  • Can I have sex while wearing SHE Period Menstrual Disc?

  • YAS! You can have mess-free sex while on your period!

  • How do I clean my SHE Period Menstrual Disc?

  • We recommend boiling your disc in plain water!

SHE Sterilizer Case is a great solution to help you in this mission. Our case is made of medical-grade silicone and microwave safe. Fill it with water and place your SHE Menstrual Disc inside. Put the lid on and place it in a microwave for 3 to 5 min. Bain-marie also works!

For extra cleaning, use our SHE Foaming Cleanser, a plant-based and hypoallergenic soap.

  • Can I exercise using my SHE Period Menstrual Disc?

  • DEFINITELY! One of the best things about SHE Period Menstrual Disc is the freedom to exercise and feel safe throughout your period. You don't need to worry about leaks or discomforts. Enjoy a hassle-free period!

  • Can I swim using SHE Period Menstrual Disc?

  • You sure can! SHE Period Menstrual Disc holds up the equivalent of 4 tampons and can’t be felt at all, no matter which activity you're doing.

  • It's normal for blood to come out when I go to the restroom?

  • Yes, it is! This is also called the auto-dumping function, and it is considered a bonus function as compared to a menstrual cup, so you don't have to keep changing the disc! However, this auto dump function only happens for some, so it also differs from person to person.

When we are peeing, the bladder musculature puts pressure on the menstrual disc, so it's normal to experience some leaking. As soon as we finish, the disc comes back in place and the leak stops. So, no need to change the disc as it self-empties itself! :)
